“The tacks were a bit short for the job and the roofing felt was about an inch too short to cover the roof properly. Fortunately I had some left over from elsehwere so I did 2 layers of that but would have been pretty annoyed otherwise as I'd set aside the day to get the job finished and a missing inch of felt could have turned it into annoying 2 day job.”
