“The fan is neither cheap and cheerful nor expensive at £95 delivered. It does what it was bought for which was to move air in the bedroom while sleeping. 1st speed is enough for that and very quiet. 2nd speed is a little less quiet but we tried it and slept ok. 3rd speed is too much air movement for sleeping and naturally a bit noisier, however, for daytime cooling it would be more than adequate.
This was the model without a light so I can’t comment on that.”
