This is such a nice jacket. Mine was in near mint condition, no signs of use/wear. My true chest size is 48", but dimensions around shoulders (delts/upper chest) is 55 1/2 " so went for two sizes up. This jacket size fits me well even with a thin sleeveless vest, medium thickness shirt and normal sweater on under it, with reasonable arm movement to spare. So, the seller has got their measurements perfect even for someone with a bigger true chest size than me (for summer use that is). This is because, I believe (confirm for yourself on their website) the seller sizes their 'smocks/summer jackets' and makes the 'fits chest size ** inches' statement for these assuming the purchaser will be wearing only a t-shirt or shirt under it, as this is not a winter jacket. It did buy this as a spring/summer/early autumn jacket and so with only a shirt under the jacket I will have plenty of room around the chest, upper arms and delts. I am 6" 1" and waist is 42 and the jacket fits nicely without being baggy around the mid-rif. Jacket arm length is also perfect for me, with 25" arms, deep pit to hand/wrist junction. This is the nice thing about many ex-Army/Surplus jackets, most of the tailoring/cuts assume a decent shoulder size to chest size ratio and an in shape mid-riff. I find, and found more so when I was more muscular and 37" waste, that civilian clothing (off-the -shelf) assumes anyone with a bigger chest also has a massive waist and so many civvy clothing is very baggy around the mid-riff.

Good quality materials and well put together. However the fit is strange the chest measurement is fine but the arms are too short. I normally fit into a uk military 190/ 112 size shirt. Also there is a strange buttoned flap across the collar which has no way of securing it out of the way
