“I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the grade 1 condition of the boots as they had only minor wear on the heel of the sole and some very light scuffs on the toe. No damage at all to the leather inside and out, superb quality boots and came with what apear to be new laces. I gave them a generous application of Dubbin wax and let it absorb overnight. Buffed it in and then polished the boots with Altberg Leder Glos . Came out absolutely stunning. Great buy”

“I was really disappointed with the boots as soon as I got them due to a very poor repair on the front of the left boot, they were meant to be grade 1. There was also a small crack on the inside of the right boot, at the bend point, both damaged areas were on the rubber that joins to the leather. Unfortunately I ordered the boots as I needed them after my old ones were no longer waterproof, so gave them the benefit of the doubt and went out on a roughly 3 mile walk across moorland, so tall grass and heather. By the time I got home the repair on the left boot had completely came apart, and got worse, as well as a new bit of damage on the inside of the left boot, once again at the bend point. The right boot was now in the same condition as the right, with a large section of damage on the front, and the crack on the inside left is now much larger, with bits also broken off. The fit of the boots are fantastic, and the comfort is great, that’s why I wanted another pair, but I’d have expected grade 1 boots to last longer than a 3 mile walk across moorland. They did stay waterproof, but I suspect with the rubber sections deteriorating at such a fast rate, it’s only a matter of time before they start leaking. Update:- So after posting this review I was immediately contacted and told to email my issue over. Admittedly I should’ve done this first, as I was asked for photo evidence and issued a replacement as soon as the photos were received. Delivery of the replacement was next day, and the quality of the boot was 100% grade 1. They are near immaculate, with the only sign of them being worn on the soles, and even that is absolute minimum wear. Top quality customer service, and replacement product.”

“True to size. Wide fit but lots of adjustment with laces. Excellent product. Superb price. Great delivery time. Though I thought I had paid the import tax on the product as part of the postage fee. So do your do diligence with import fees.”

“I had these boots before and i have not found any other boots as comfortable as these.if you use them for work they will leave black marks on floors if you stub your toe,i used them for floor laying before.the best boots i have got”
