“As I bought 2 sets, I can say with a slight bit of authority that they were of excellent quality for the price. The dutch metal mess tins are well made, they were used and as such had signs of usage. But as I am going to use them, they will have in time additional wear marks. The service from the Company was brilliant and the package was delivered well within an expected timescale.”

“Upon inspection they had definitely been used!! No dents or dings but there were heavy scorch marks on the larger tin base. The inner tin was in better shape. The great thing was: upon a short soak in hot soapy water they immediately looked ten times better! I scrubbed 'em with a very well used scouring pad, then some toothpaste and finally another good wash down. Job done! Not brand new looking but way, way better. For me living in a shared property with communal kitchen areas and stowage space an ultra minimum, these mess tins will be a tremendous asset.”

“First Class mess tins in every way....Slightly smaller than the British Army ones but that is in my opinion far better....Better to hold and eat from also the amount you cook in them....They have curled edges all around which lowers the heat slightly should you drink your soup from them like I do,,,Thus saving you burnt lips....May sound silly but its not...I would say the Dutch Army put a lot of thought into there army products and thats why I but as much as I can..Thank You Special Uniform and Kit for all your help and advice.............”
