“I'm quite happy with the purchase, largely because I needed the unusual "Full XL" size, which is available here in several styles. The price is quite fair, I think, considering choice, speed and distance. The Oxford is a simple 3-slat headboard, 2-slat footboard design. It's no more difficult than any other modern furniture assembly kit (i.e. Ikea). Philips-head wood screws are used throughout, vs. the bolt/barrel nut of others. Cheaper and easier to accomodate, I suppose, but it works. I chose the base (coffee bean) stain and it looks good (even better than the photos), both in finish and color. I shimmed one of the footboard slats (in the mortise) because it showed a gap visible between the lower and upper board at one leg that wasn't on the other. And, there were a couple of small chips on the headboard slats where the tenons were milled, exposing the white wood under the otherwise brown finish. Those two items are all I can find in fault on the whole assembly - which is pretty darn good. I'm glad I found”

“Putting it together wasn't too difficult and the included hardware was good-quality. I was very pleased with the finish (black wash) and there were no chips or scratches. I used to work for a custom cabinetmaker and I can tell they care about the quality of the work. I also have chronic neck pain and felt a positive difference immediately vs. using a standard metal bed frame or no frame at all. We threw our box spring out the same day.”
