“My first impression of the shoes was first that the leather was incredibly soft and pleasing to touch, and the lining wool very nice as well. When I first put the shoes on, I was concerned they were a little too tight -- I usually wear 10 and 1/2 wide US, and I went for UK 10's (which is a US 11). The length is actually spot on, my UK 10's are the perfect length for my 10 and 1/2 US feet. The width, however, was snug at first.
That said, the shoes very quickly conformed to my foot -- a combination of the wool yielding around the width of my feet and the leather being so soft no doubt. I have no trouble with them now, though I will say they fit my feet *exactly* with very little wiggle room. I would advise anyone purchasing to definitely err on the side of larger -- if I were ordering again, I'd go for UK 11's just to make sure I have some breathing room / my old feet getting bigger room.
Overall, though, the quality and comfort is excellent and I would definitely recommend them!”
