“Got the stud kit for my trail running shoes (Saucony Peregrine). So far after about 20 miles of running I have not lost a stud. Confidence on the frozen ground is 100% -- no problems with slipping unless my foot falls on a pile of leaves. Excellent on the frozen mud. Haven't tried them yet in hard packed snow, but expect good results. Installation with the hand tool was a little fatiguing. Probably should have used a cordless drill on a low setting.”
