“The goniometer does what it is supposed to. It is a bit flimsy construction with no cover over the battery and the micro-switch is on the exposed circuit board. Where you stick your finger through a semi-circular hole in the case it looks like a part is missing, but it is not. I would suggest storing it in a small box to avoid damage and stuff getting in the circuit board. I wish the Pro and Master models were available, but this will work for now. As far as accuracy, it seems to be reasonably accurate on knives I know the angle. It does take a bit of practice to read non-polished edges and convex grinds.”

“I was impressed by the delivery time, given I live in Australia. However the unit arrived with 2 parts 'floating' inside the packaging. I emailed Gritomatic the same day seeking assistance, but have not received any reply. $70 is a lot to pay for something you can't use!”
