“I’ve always been a mediocre freehand sharpener and then I invested in some 10ml Gunny Juice with the Alder blanks. Not that I’m any better, but I can now get my knives wicked sharp. I can usually tree-top leg hair following a progression of diamond stones and then 3 – 1 - 0.5 - 0.25 - 0.1 micron gunny juice. I’ve used these for four months and have sharpened at least 25 knives in several steels, including K390, M390, M4, VG10, S35V, S20V, and quite a few simple steels. I haven’t had to reload the strops yet! This stuff is amazing. Note I bought this in June 2023 and am writing this review in September 2023.”

“I'd seen videos and examples of how poly crystalline diamond emulsion compares to compound blocks and I was skeptical to how well it would work in polishing and de burring. I purchased some basswood and applied, the applicator made it pretty easy, I used a miniature toothbrush to apply, and after letting dry I tried my first go at stropping. I was amazed at the results. I got a 6 micron, 3 and 1, and I couldn't believe how quickly it produced a mirror. It really works.”

“I was skeptical I’ve been using lapping films for a while and said ok. I’ll try. Bought the 6,3,1, loaded some onto smooth perfect premium cow leather and yes this has totally changed the mirror look and with an edge bite!! Very happy and I will continue to use this brand and get some sub microns next.”
