Tapered post and the stabilizer work together nicely to address one of the things that annoys me about the stock kme. Would recommend this to all kme users.

Nowhere in the product description does it mention that this item was 3D printed. This item is not durable at all. I twisted off one of the hand tightened parts during initial assembly. Unfortunately I'll not have an opportunity to test it's functionality. The design appears to be solid; but, the execution is poor. That's on me for not reading the previous reviews.

Garbage. I use next to no pressure while using my KME, and if you so much as over-tighten this by a quarter turn, it will snap at the base. 3D print your own, or wrap some tape on your original KME base if you don't like the wobble. Don't waste your time or money.

This is a joke. I'm sure with this KNE product people would pay a lot more if it was not made with plastic. Great idea tho.

Provides much needed stability and which allows better angle measurement and overall function of the KME. Made of printed plastic. Definitely should be made of aluminum. I would gladly pay for the up charge. I snapped the plastic tapered base pivot within minutes of receiving it and had to reorder. My bad. Just don’t torque it down too hard. Again aluminum would have been the way to go.
