“The grits seem more like 600 and 1000 in the scratch pattern. Not a problem, but as a knife maker and sharpening devotee, this is my opinion. I thinned out a Japanese Guyoto with other Naniwa stones then put the edge on with the Venev. Poor feel and feedback which is probably due to the matrix holding the diamond. Effective though somewhat slow. A 320/600 would be a better combination in my opinion for a working edge. ✌”
