“I prefer over due to how much faster it brings out a deep mirror. I wish it was a bit thicker but that could be a benefit being thin. I definitely recommend it for your mirrors but hide is fine for my personal working edges.”

“Very consistent leather. Holds grit and polishing solution nicely. Some media will spread better if you LIGHTLY oil the leather before applying the honing media. Do some research for specific tips. The aluminum backing is angled to fit Hapstone and similar stone holders perfectly. Remember always move the strop opposite the blade’s cutting direction to avoid damaging the leather.”

“I use this strop on my Blitz 360 with 3um Gunny Juice after sharpening with 2,000 grit diamond. It doesn't take long at all to produce a mirror edge.”
