“A definite upgrade from the KME Gold diamond stones. The 100 and 240 grit stones are great. 400 grit is about as high as I go. The 400 is extremely fine compared to other stones. The 800 is more of a polishing grit in this form. Have found that using edge trailing strokes primarily work best with these stones also. I do use edge leading but only at the end of 240 grit and 400. go very lightly. Strop with a nice 3 micron diamond emulsion and you get a very nice edge. Only thing I wish is that I could afford the Scorpion set and get a wider stone. For info: I use Krud Kutter diluted with water or Gunny Shines as a lube. You can use a scotch brite pad to clean with and it will refresh the stones also. For lapping I did use some silicon carbide sandpaper on the 100, 240, and 400 grit stones. All you need is a nice flat surface and some water.”

“They work so good, and it made such a huge difference in the results I was getting from my sharpening system. The stones are not as wide as I expected is the only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. All in all, the stones are great and I would definitely buy them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for stones.”

“I’m new to sharpening. I’ve done a handful of knives on the cheap stones my Worksharp came with and THOUGHT it was decent. Two knives with these stones made me realize just how much better they are! If you want absolutely game changing edges in your knives, buy these stones!”

“I bought it to ship to France. That should tell you how good these stones are. I recommand going for the Phoenix or Dragon if you freehand though ! I use the Cerberus Dog with the Precision Adjust adaptator, or freehand. Excellent results.”

“Being a total amateur when it comes to sharpening - I'm really happy with this set. For years I've been using some basic sharpeners like Fiskars roll sharp. When I bought my first descent EDC knife I also had stepped up to Lansky turn box deluxe. Then my first premium steel EDCs arrived and I got stuck. Knowing how hard m390 or 20cv is to sharpen I didn't even try Lansky on them. Had some for more than 2 years blunt as they can be. Those stones did an excellent job - although I'm not microscope peeking and some pros would have a laugh probably - knives are razor sharp and look brilliant. I am yet to find out how they will retain sharpness. I bought them based on a YouTube review on the "Canadian Cutting Edge" channel along with a flimsy Ruixin RX-008 Pro (which I can barely recommend – only for those on a very tight budget). Bottom line - I'm super happy with this product.”
