Nice concept but need a lot of refinement, its priced way to high, the cube came missing parts like no rod parking clamp, no wall plug adapter for charging at $189.00 one wouldn't expect you to scrimp on at $10.00 power adapter, the qube is free floating with no stone present not good for maintaining accuracy, the whole point of switching to it is to increase the accuracy of the bevels. Again great concept, but at this price point no one wants to be someone's beta tester !

Extremely disappointed, but I'm taking half the blame for I should have sent it straight back. I have a habit of letting little things slide because I am capable of fixing alot of issues myself. Unfortunately it really bit me this time. First clue, the inner box was in absolute shambles, then the machining was terrible on every piece in the box... I'm really to pissed right now to say anymore, but the worst part is I am quite sure they knew condition when sending it out.

This new guide rod with the Axicube is a great improvement to a fantastic sharpener. It's so much easier to use than fiddling around with the old angle finder. I was never completely sure I was getting the angle right before, but there is no doubt with the Axicube. I like having it built on the guide rod. The new guide rod is also more sturdy than the old one! My only complaint is the price. I think they could sell this for a little less and still make a nice profit.

I was anticipating getting the Axicube hoping it would make the angle setting less complicated. Instead it actually made the process more complicated. It gave readings every little move on blade which now had me trying to coordinate angles for multiple locations on the blade and on both sides. In addition the unit would turn off by itself within a minute or close to it which required me to stop and press the on button right in middle of sharpening process multiple times. So overall it actually ended up being more work, and adding more steps to the process. Lastly the cost was in my opinion way to much for what you get. Having said that I do feel their is value if one is willing to pay the price in dollars, time, and effort.

This little gadget is a real plus to the K03... saving a lot of time and delivering precise results. Will be glad to see it come out for the Kadet Pro.
