“Very solidly built unit. Well machined with tight tolerances. Could use sturdier packaging. Styrofoam inside was shredded but important stuff was fine. Looked like it had snowed in my house after I got it unpacked.”

“Seems to work nicely, Clamps from the K03 fit very snug, have to remove to adjust them-will not slide, the difference in the anodizing I think. Tried the Universal Table and sharpened some scissors, needs an extending adapter to make it longer, cause you are only able to use about half of the 6-inch stone. Other than that, I am still trying different types of blades.”

“It is a great concept, and looks great BUT, it may be OK for the Novice or the Hobbyist, after playing around a few hours, there is no way to set a zero and work with an exact degree, so you can repeat the next time you are sharping. The only thing that really works is use the magic marker and guess at it. I sharpened a couple knifes and tried the Universal Table to sharping a pair of scissors, it works, but you only were able to use about half the stone. I would not trade my K03 or my Blitz for a truck load of these, I sort of feel like I got ripped off.”

“Almost a perfect little sharpener. All it's lacking is a heavy base, but the rack and pinion angle adjust more than makes up for it. I have a K03, but use my Kadet more often.”
