“GuyFox has something for everyone for sure! I was scared because I didn't know if I could trust a scent company I found on Instagram, but uhhhh... let me tell ya.
MIKUL - Turned out to be my favorite. It was hard to break the tie between it and Jefe for sure. The grapefruit notes give a little edge to the other fresh smelling notes but not too much. It smells good enough to leave an impression on anyone I come across, but is chill enough to not feel like I'm trying too hard.
JEFE - Fan favorite, amiright? Well deserved too. Sometimes its my favorite too, and I feel like it fits me, but only when I need to hit em hard. (Whatever that means, lol) Jefe smells like who Mikul was before he grew up a little and mellowed out a little bit.
JP - I liked this one. JP's got its own vibe for sure, and the first spray is amaaazing... almost rivaling my love for Mikul and Jefe. But when it dries down, I miss the way it opened initially and almost, aaalmost forget that its the same scent that blew me away just an hour or two before.
HERMIS - Strong contender here too. It starts of with its own beautifully unique smell and feel. However when it dries down it gets kinda... sweet. And although its a personal preference, I dont like too much sweet. I must say, that before the sweetness kicked in... it was definitely fighting for that top spot.
MARRA - Is nice. Makes me nostalgic for the colognes that were popular in the late 90s, early 00s. Not for me but quite possibly amazing on someone else for sure.
GRANT - This is a well crafted scent, but also is another one that isnt for me. The patchouli in this one, is a little too loud, and I think patchouli is one of things that you either LOVE, or LOATHE. I happen to fall into latter of latter of the two groups unfortunately.
I took my time with the sampler before writing this review, because I wanted to truly get to know the scents personally before just writing anything online and uhhh, GuyFox.... Get ready to take my money, I guess. Because a bottle of Mikul with my name on the label is calling me. Hell, I might get Jefe too!”
“I enjoy all of the fragrances and appreciate that they are non-toxic. Women, of course, can wear them, but to me they definitely smell more masculine than any uni's I've experienced. JP is my fave. I generally don't care for vetiver, but I love it in this fragrance. Sillage is ok for most, but performance, on my skin at least, is nil...they all become skin scents on me very quickly. But for the price, I don't mind reapplying.
As other reviewers have experienced, my beautifully packaged sample set leaked...a lot...leaving 3 of the samples less than half full. Since they are not free, I would DEFINITELY recommend GUY FOX invest in better sample vials.”
“These do smell amazing, but a heads up, the sample bottles leak. These guys were awesome about it and sent me replacements right away. The replacements were still leaking a bit, but they put them in individual bags so it was fine.”
