“This sauce is very sweet and tastes strongly of raw onions, neither of which are flavors that I seek from a hot sauce. Additionally, its spiciness is dramatically lower than that of Howler Monkey Original, which has the same 4/10 rating on Heatonist. I guess you could say I'm disappointed, but hey, that's why they make chocolate and vanilla! I will say that from the very first instant I tasted it, my first thought was "This would go great with pork."”

“Heartbeat Jalapeno has a nice flavor with almost no heat. I would recommend this sauce if you want something to put liberally on your food that's not going to burn your mouth. I prefer the habanero version of this sauce over the jalapeno however. I found the habanero sauce to have the right amount of heat to go with the flavor. Either way you can't go wrong. Give them both a try!”

“reps were sampling sauces at NYC Chelsea mkt and I folded and bought one.... ummm a week ago! And I’m out!! If you like spicy but not painful type of spicy this fits the bill! I’ve put this on chicken, pork, eggs, salmon, and chz n bean tortilla wraps this week... and I’m out! I sure wish it wasnt so expensive but I’m biying more now so..... good job folks!”
