I find this best as a small addition to something that could use a distinctive kick. My favorite is in a sausage penne pasta with vodka sauce dish. I usually add red pepper flakes and something like a small amount of calabrian chile powder to the sauce, plus copius amounts of fresh minced garlic. This acts as a substitute/augment for those flavors while adding a bit of additional richness and a smoky dimension to the vodka sauce. On its own, I think it's a bit eclectic and maybe a tad oily to add somewhere where you may just want a small dab of hot sauce, like on eggs or a basic sandwich, but as part of a greater recipe where you're augmenting other ingredients and flavors, I think it's a great fit.

Great smokey garlic flavor. Very complex. Shaking is a must, as it settles and separates.

I am giving this 4 stars because it's delivers the promise of cedar, smoky, and garlic. Yum. It's got a good kick, but not overwhelming (I usually like the 3/10's, so this one is a little hotter than my norm) and the heat doesn't overwhelm the taste. So the reason it's not my favorite is because it's *too* smoky FOR ME. I'm pretty sensitive to that flavor, but I wanted to try this. If you are a fan of that smoky flavor, you'll probably love this one. I am a huge fan of garlic so that is what hooked me, as well as really loving Dawson's Shawarma sauce (my fave) and their mushroom sauce. So, although I won't be buying this one again, it's not because it's bad by any means. Dawson's makes killer sauces and you should try them all.

A nice mild to medium heat with an insane smokey flavor. Great on everything.

This is easily one of my favorite breakfast egg hot sauces. I love the thick texture, and the strong garlic flavor.

Damn good flavor, heat, and duration! I wish I could taste it for the first time every time. If you don't at least try this, you're probably dead inside and hate holidays and your own birthday.
