Perfect amount of heat but too much vinegar for my taste.

This is one of my alltime favorite sauces! Packs the heat but is full of delicious flavors, perfect for pairing with meats and veggies. I love it with steak and french fries (having it with steak right now). It really brings out the heartiness of the meat and adds that special kick I LOVE.

I find this one very hard to judge. It's called a hot sauce, but this is really a barbecue sauce. I'd call it a Carolina barbecue sauce specifically as it's vinegary. Comparing it to a regular hot sauce doesn't seem right, and in most use cases where you'd use that this would be very bad. However I'm sure it's fantastic for pulled pork sandwiches or other barbecue. Use seems a little limited by the thinnish consistency though compared to most barbecue sauces which are thicker. The heat level is hottish, but not overly so. Good flavor, maybe a bit too vinegary for some, but again, I will have to test on some barbecue to really get the true utilization of it.

It is a very vinegar heavy flavor and fairly hot. I love it on eggs and wings.

The whiskey flavor is front and center here. It has a nice sweetness that fits it well. Smoke is present, but more sweetness than smoke. The heat rating seems close, but it might be closer to a 5/10. The ghost pepper is pretty far down on the ingredients list so it's very flavorful but not anywhere near as hot as other ghost pepper sauces.

Predominant flavor is vinegar (apple, sweet), then ghost pepper, smoke, and whisky. For me, the vinegar overwhelms the other flavors.

This sauce is hot. Those ghost peppers don't mess around. When I first got this sauce I tried it on some chicken tenders and did not enjoy the vinegar taste. But, this past weekend I made some braised beef short ribs and put a 1/4 cup of this in the braising liquid. Perfect addition!

I can use this liberally as it is not too hot. It is great for cutting through heavy foods as it has vinegar undertones.
