“Good flavor and heat. At first thought it was very similar to yucateco xxx because the smoke is so heavy, but there is actually a lot more going on with this sauce I realized after a couple bites.”

“It's definitely quite smoky, and goes well with most foods where you'd want that smoked flavor. It's an above average sauce, with good flavor, but I'd only give it a 7/10. The heat is what you'd expect. It's not too hot, and not lacking in heat. I typically mix this with hummus, baba ghannouj, and other South Asian and middle eastern foods.”

I’m so sorry this sauce wasn’t your cup of tea. We find it is absolutely phenomenal on burgers and chicken tacos. It also makes a great marinade! Or if you'd like a suggestion for something more to your taste, send an email to ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com

“Smoky and super tasty. I keep trying all the other sauces and this one is my go-to. It's thick so is easy to add to food. I really really like a spicy sauce with kick so this one is perfect... Nice and spicy yet crave-ably tasty.”

“I love this sauce on almost everything. Great smoky, peppery, not-too-complex flavor (hence, can go with wide variety of dishes). For the heat enthusiast, it has just enough kick (pretty instant) to delight in yet not to destroy your mouth and dissipates fairly quickly, so you’re ready to continue chomping—bite after bite. Will keep this sauce on hand at all times.”
