Shocked to see some of the reviews about the flavor. The anniversary sauces are usually alot more complex than traditional hot sauces, but this was absolutely the best Heatonist Anniversary sauce so far. My one complaint would be about the thickness of the sauce, but that's not enough to lower the score for me. Chile Lengua De Fuego has emerged as one of the top sauce makers for me. Love everything they have put out thus far and back to order more.

Chile Lengua de Fuego is always assembling magical concoctions that are super tasty. For me, after reading some negative reviews on this one, I was very pleasantly surprised by what's actually in the bottle. There is nothing else I've had like it on this site. The taste is a bit floral and very tropical (to me) - tastes like passionfruit, sweet potato, banana, and cinnamon have a party, and there's rum in everyone's glass. I say this about too many of my reviews, but here it makes a lot of sense: put this on vanilla ice cream - mix it in. There is nearly nothing savory in this sauce (other than maybe the annatto), and cream really wakes up the rum and fruit. It's awesome. The texture leaves a bit to be desired, visually, functionally, and on the tongue. It's thick pulp - kinda frizzy, fuzzy, or mealy in texture. I wonder if this could be improved somehow. It needs some more flow. The narrow bottleneck doesn't help anything out. Note to Heatonist about their thick sauces: take a tip from manufacturer's with the wider bottlenecks like Alchemy and Brooklyn Delhi. It would out so much! On opening this one on one occasion, the sauce exploded the screw cap off, and sprayed sauce all over my shirt, from a build-up in the pressure. Widen that neck! I hope it sticks around for sale though, because the taste is very good.

The sauce came out clumpy and was not pourable. Taste seemed ok but I couldn’t get a full experience.

A little on the sweet side, but also quite spicy. I liked it.

Really enjoying this sauce. It's sweet and fruity and you can really taste the passion fruit. Good for tacos and chicken.

The flavor of this sauce is amazing! Enjoyed it on some roasted chicken last night as well as some tostadas for lunch. Very versatile. Only downside is it’s EXTREMELY hard to get it out of the bottle.

Definitely a big cinnamon and all spice after taste. Certainly not a bad taste, but not sure what it will go with. It's not a sauce you will use that often. Can almost go on ice cream i would think. And yes, it is EXTREMELY thick and hard to get out of the bottle. But for fans of the Heatonist sauces, I say try it for the unique experience.

I do really like this sauce and I can say that it has one of the most unique flavors I've ever experienced in hot sauce. The only reason not giving it five stars is because the flavor is so unique that I'm not sure what I would put it on besides when or pork but I'm open to ideas. It's delicious though. So far I put it on chicken or turkey sandwiches
