“I bought it to experience the heat level, which it met and exceeded. The flavor however is quite bland. I wouldn’t order it again. I feel like so many hot sauces just provide the heat, but skimp on flavor.”

“This has become my favorite hot sauce. Nothing else compares (except for XXX). It has an essential oil that is very aromatic and flavorful. It is like the Carolina Reaper on steroids, but with fewer earth tones. It is delicious and extremely hot. Use sparingly!”

“I feel a little duped. I love the flavor of the Pepper X Last Dab. It’s certainly one of my favorite hot sauces in the “very” hot hot sauce category. However, when you buy The Last Dab (and spend a ridiculous amount of $$ doing so), you expect REAL heat. Especially when it has “PEPPER X” plastered all over it. It even states on the bottle that it’s 91% Pepper X, and Pepper X has a scoville rating of 2m+ units (which is absolutely bonkers for those unfamiliar with the Scoville Scale). Unfortunately, I can absolutely guarantee, with 100% certainty, that this stuff is not even in the same neighborhood as half a million units. I would be shocked if it’s 100,000. I would say it’s on par with Dave’s Ghost Pepper Sauce- I put a few dabs on my food every few bites. No doubt, it will knock the socks off of somebody whose idea of hot is Tabasco or Sriracha, but for those of us looking for what seems to be advertised as one of the hottest sauces you can get your hands on, LOOK ELSEWHERE.”
