Oh no! Sorry it seemed too sweet. We haven't had that feedback on this sauce before! We wanted to have some sweetness to give it barbecue vibes, but understand it's not for everyone. If you hit us up at ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com we can recommend something equally smokey and less sweet!
