This sauce tastes really good. The ingredients produce a rich flavor. It is, as its name might suggest, a Southwestern/Mexican flavor. Hence, it will not be as versatile (unless you like Southwestern flavor on everything) as other sauces. This will make burritos, tacos, nachos, etc., unstoppable. The heat level could be cranked up a notch as heat belongs in Southwestern dishes. I will have to move on to the red version next time out. Meanwhile, I can always sprinkle a bit of Trinidad Scorpion or Carolina Reaper powder in.

Tasty, good amount of heat, great price!!!! I put this on everything. It reminds me of the smokiness of chipotle sauce but with more subtle and interesting flavors. There is a kick to it but not to the point that it interferes with your eating. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!! Best hot ones sauce, really. Mix in a little of the Last Dab and it's sooo good! 10/10 WILL BUY AGAIN

Have you ever enjoyed the taste of salsa verde, but felt the ego crushing defeat of ordering such a weak heated salsa? Well stop crying and get 10 bottles of this! The heat is smooth, flavorful, and really heightens the natural flavors of an authentic salsa verde. This tastes great on almost everything. I say almost, because I tried to use this to spice up my marriage. It did not go according to plan. This heats up anything but a cold shoulder. Thanks Heatonist!!!

SO MF GOOD! I really enjoyed Siracha on my eggs and when Los Calientes came on the scene, I now use it in place of other sauces on; wings, eggs/breakfast burritos, nachos, tacos and chili. If it came in an IV, I'd have it in there too. Caution: depending on tolerance level, this sauce's heat can "sneak up on you."

I bought several of this after watching Hot Ones' Gordon Ramsey interview where he praised it. He's right, it has a really good taste with a fruity edge, but there's just barely any spice or heat in it. And yet I read another review here where they said there was plenty of spice but poor taste. I'm wondering if they're having manufacturing issues? I think it's a crapshoot if you buy it. Store-bought sauces at least are consistent, and much cheaper.

I recently hosted an event based on the Hot Ones challenge. 6 competitors and 11 sauces(bonus XXX hot ones #11). I am reviewing my line up with feedback from myself and 5 others. This was my #5 sauce. Taste wise it was far and away the best of all 11 sauces(all the sauces i picked had between 4 and 5 star rating on this site). I'm trying not to go with the rest of the hype. I'm trying to be very critical/realistic about these reviews. This was one of only 2 sauces that someone asked if they could take home the rest of the bottle. Heat was minimal. Maybe it's that the mash mix is so perfect that everything counter balances perfectly. I can only go by the feedback and reactions of myself +5. our softer competitors were starting to worry once they got to wing #5 but had no issues with Los Calientes' heat levels. Taste - 5 of 5 Heat - maybe 4 of 10
