“I am not sure if tastes have changed since this "classic" recipe was en vogue or if it was just me, but this sauce was nasty. I couldn't taste anything but vinegar, and super sour vinegar at that. There wasn't any noticeable heat on this one, not was there any appreciable flavor outside of foul tasting vinegar. Maybe I got a bad bottle or something? Regardless, it was bad enough that I will not buy another bottle just to see. 1/5 will not buy again.”

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that as this is one of our more popular sauces. This is meant to be a super vinegar-forward, simple sauce (it's modeled after traditional American styles that are just vinegar, peppers, salt and maybe garlic) but we add more garlic and turmeric to jazz it up a bit. Maybe it is the turmeric you're not a fan of? Also, if you tried it directly after receiving, try putting it in the fridge and giving it another go. It can be weird tasting it warm (warm vinegar can be funky :)). “This sauce is a classic. I've gone through several bottles now and my only complaint is that there isn't a bigger bottle. Good stuff!”

“It was good. Has a bit of sweetness to it. I prefer the los calientes but this one is great for pizza or a light wing or taco sauce.”

“No heat at all. IMO Tabasco is spicier and has a better taste. The seeds in the sauce clog up the spout so another bad move. 100% disappointed. I spent $10 to find out Tabasco ($3) is better and more convenient to purchase.”
