Oh no! So sorry to hear that! The number one reason for people to think sauce is not hot is because they treat it like an extract sauce and use too little. You're meant to use about 1 tablespoon per serving, so enough to well coat a wing, plus a dab on top. Giving the bottles a good shake also helps! Or, if you'd like a suggestion for something else super hot email to ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com

“The Apollo sauce definitely has a delayed heat to it that slowly builds up. Unless you like a strong pepper forward flavor I would say this one isn't for you. I enjoy sauces with good heat but with a combination of other flavors. So if you like The classic sauce and Los Calientes bc of flavor you probably won't like the Last Dab. Lol Giving it a 3 stars bc they didn't lie about the heat and most sauce companies do and I think it's a well made sauce..just not my cup of tea as far as flavors go.”

“This sauce was good. Nice and hot, but the Scoville heat rating is really only 250k SHU, (No, it is not 2.5 million Scoville) And not as hot as I wanted it to be but other than that it had a very full reaper pepper flavor and is very good in burritos and tamales.”

“To me it’s not very hot it’s actually lower then the reaper for but the taste is not good at all. It’s almost like they tried just for heat I didn’t taste any sort of fruity after taste it didn’t make me sweat. So as a result it gets a 2/10 from me for taste and a 3/10 for heat. If you wanna try this do the Reaper instead please it’s still mostly heat but you can stomach the flavor a little better.”

“Overall a very good sauce. Solid flavor and spice. But, personally compared to the pepper x versions, I found it lacking in heat. So if you are looking for the true top tier of spice and flavor is would get the classic pepper x one over this.”
