Good heat. Hotter than I'd anticipated but still totally manageable. Decent flavor but nothing to write home about.

Solidly hot. The Bourbon is definitely there. Good but very specific. Not an everyday sauce.

Man, this hot sauce is fantastically flavorful and has a nice burn! The burn is delayed and sneaks up on you but I love the flavor behind it. It's very mildly sweet and has a smoky flavor too. This is the hot sauce I go to grab when I want something very spicy, but not Last-Dab-spicy. It's so good!

Wonderful blend of taste and heat. The smokiness lures you in to keep pouring more on. The heat just waits it's turn. Then at the perfect moment, the heat is released and you enter the red zone. Not face melting, but just the right kick!!

This is by far my favorite additive to our chili batches. While it's good on wings and baked chicken and great on pulled pork, what it does to chili is mind-blowing. I'm a huge fan of Hell Fire Detroit's offerings but this one is my favorite of theirs and it's in my top 5 2020 Heatoinist sauces.

They don’t make notice of how strong the apple cider vinegar base is. No bourbon and little smoke, this is straight up watery apple cider vinegar with some heat. The fluid separates in the fridge between the vinegar and the spices. Highly misleading.

Lucky for me this is too hot for my wife - more for me! I sauced my chicken wings with this recently and was pleased with the extra zest and flavor. I have also tried it in chili, with excellent results. I may have to order more soon. Enjoy!

Hell Fire Detroit makes the most flavorful sauce I have ever eaten, and my favorite, the Cabernet Habanero Reaper. After finishing that bottle I was so excited my heatonist subscription was including their newest creation, and was sadly disappointed. This is not a bad sauce by any means. It's super smoky, and fairly flavorful, just not nearly as nuanced as the Cabernet sauce. If you're looking for something smoky, bitter, and hot it's perfect. Just don't expect the salty umami complexity of their other sauce and you won't be dissapointed.
