“This is a fantastic sauce. You open the bottle, and, even by smell, it's the best I could hope for. The smell of the bottle doesn't even smell spicy, nor vinegary, just the solid smell of well cooked collards. But just because it doesn't smell spicy, doesn't mean it don't pack a punch. A lot of creative uses for it. Not strictly for some singular protein.”

“This is one of the best sauces I've received in my monthly subscription bottles. It's a little hotter than I normally like, but you can't go wrong with the flavor. It's tasty! Just ordered my second bottle.”

“If you purchase directly from the owner like I did once in an effort to directly support a black business, my experience was very poor with the owner. My items did not come and when I contacted her about it, she just stopped communicating with me and I had to contact my card company and do a charge back. THAT is when she contacted me after weeks of ignoring me talking about sending me a new shipment, which she never did. I don’t really want to support her at all at this point, but I do like the hot sauce. I trust heatonist to provide good customer service and take care of me if I don’t receive my items or if they come damaged. Heatonist has a much more professional business sense with customer satisfaction in the forefront. So if you buy this hot sauce, I highly advise you to only purchase from the heatonist site.”

“This is SO GOOD. I got it because people were saying it had surprisingly really good flavor. And it truly does. It’s also VERY hot though. I made the mistake of using too much the first time and found myself dying for a good 10 minutes. But so worth it. Definitely recommend if you like heat but also good flavor.”

“Growing up, the only way I could eat green leaf veggies or even peas was to smother it with chow-chow. Now I've got an even better way to dress my veggies: Collards N Ghost. This is my second time ordering this sauce. I originally bought it with the season 18 lineup 10 sauce package, and it was the first sauce I used up. It is perfect on anything, but my favorite is field peas, black eyed peas, brussel sorouts, leafy greens, roast pork, and of course, fried chicken.”
