“This sauce is really, really good. I like sweet stuff, but I don't look for sweetness in hot sauce. That being said, this is a very pleasant vegetable-y tasting sauce. The apple cider vinegar and the brown sugar lends itself really well to the raisin flavor, but it's got enough heat to the point where you won't be disappointed if you normally like hot stuff. I recommend it on chicken and beef.”

“Such an interesting flavor profile, in a very good way. Guaranteed to be different than most hot sauces. I imagine it would be great with meat but I use it on veggie nuggets and marinades. Must try.”

“This sauce, my friends, is a winner in my book. It's sweet, but not sugary sweet. It's hot. Hot enough to tingle your lips, but not take away the flavor from your dish. The raisin flavor is there if you look for it, but it doesn't have a distinct raisin flavor. Another thing I like is it is not vinegar forward. It's not runny like water, it has some thickness to it almost like a salsa, but not that chunky. I tried it on a metal spoon and a wooden spoon, then on a smoked pork belly quesadilla. It was great alone then really topped off the smoked pork belly. This sauce will be a regular in our fridge. It's going to go fast though. As a bonus, it feels good to support what the folks at Small Axe Peppers are doing to support small gardens/farms.”

“This sauce is an incredible blend of light kick and flavor. The heat at times feels a little more than a 2/10 but what really shines is the perfect blend of heat and savory/sweet flavor from the raisins. That is a unique combo I have not seen in other sauces. Other sauces try to blend sweet and spicy but this combo of raisins and peppers is magical. This bottle barely lasts a week in my house -- it goes with anything!”

“This one is not really hot, everyone liked the flavour of this hot sauce. We purchased 15 different hot sauces to have our own work version of hot ones at our office for a company event. We purchased a range from 1/10 to 11/10 so everyone could try something in their Range. We are a small office (7 employees) and half of them made it all the way to the end. the remainder made it at least half the way through. Everyone had fun!”

“I got this sauce in my subscription box a few months ago. I love this sauce! It is a perfect balance of sweet and heat. Perfect for those who can't handle spicy. My mom hates spicy food but she is in love with this sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this sauce to beginners and to those die hard spicy nuts.”
