“There’s a lot going on in here. It starts out sweet, thanks to the carrots and sugar and the lighter vinegar. Then, the earthy flavors of the carrots and raisins come in. It finishes up with a little bit of heat. I remember not being a fan of the Chicago sauce from Small Axe Peppers because it just seemed so, so, so sweet. This one feels more balanced to me. It’s still definitely sweet, don’t get me wrong. But it’s not off-putting like the Chicago was. Definitely go with this one if you're going with Small Axe Peppers' sauces.”

“No joke. My family usually buys their hot sauce by the gallon. This would go fast. I could drink a glass of this. Please don’t sell it by the gallon because I W I L L be tempted to do so.”

“I’m not usually a fan of sweet sauces but this one is so different. The raisins add a delicious touch. I used half the bottle as a dipping sauce for chicken tenders. So good!”

“It came in my April subscription box and I was so glad it did because I doubt I would have given it a try if not. This sauce goes amazing with everything, I legit finished the bottle within a week. The balanced slightly fruity sweetness and the garlic flavor went great with everything from eggs to pork and everywhere in between. I highly recommend this to anyone whether they like raisins or not.”

“Was very happy to see this in my monthly box, living in the Bay Area myself! And the sauce is delicious - it's slightly sweet, but has a perfect amount of spice to go with it. Had it with a hamburger and fries, would be great with pizza or wings too. Or anything really. Will be buying more.”
