As others have said, this is an absolutely fantastic condiment. It has a very deep, rich umami flavor that tastes great by itself and which I can envision numerous applications for in my cooking. That said, it is absolutely, positively not a hot sauce. Not even a little. Tastes great, will definitely purchase it regularly, and laugh at the label every time.

You know you've been eating to many hot sauces when you get to a 1 rated sauce and go 'awwww'. This is really really tasty, especially as someone who could live off olives, but I didn't find much heat. I can imagine this with a nicoise salad or as a dip for crudite.

This is a very special sauce, it is extremly savory and earthy and showcase mostly olives and capers. The rest of ingredients makes an interesting background richeness. It is not super hot, it definitely adds more salt than heat to your meal. Perfect for a soup or a vinaigrette, maybe for a pizza or a meat marinade.

This is not a hot sauce so it kills me to give it 3 stars but it's on a hot sauce site, not a sauce site. The flavor is like it says packed full of umami flavor. Just the right amount of saltiness. I love this sauce but not for any kind of heat. I put it in soups and broths for seafood boils and it rounds out the flavors of everything it's mixed into. 0/10 on the heat scale

I don't know why this is on a hot sauce site, but this sauce is fantastic. Great and easy addition to any stir fry or soup. Not hot though.

I have tried this stuff on everything I can think of as a hot sauce and it just tastes....off. I'm sure that it would make a great marinade for chicken or beef but as a sauce, it isn't great.
