“Love all of them. Verde is great for anything, esp in summer. Rojo is like a hot enchilada sauce, great for Mexican. Barbacoa is amazing. Bbq sauce is too sweet for me, so I use LC Barbacoa instead. Perfect balance.”

“Verde was the best one, which I’d rate at 4 stars. It was flavorful and had a nice spice-level. The Barbacoa flavor I’d rate at 3 stars. It was flavorful but wasn’t very spicy. Rojo was my least favorite flavor in the pack (weird tangy flavor), but was spicier than the other two. I’d rate Rojo at 2.5 stars. All these sauces are runnier in viscosity and I’d like them thicker or weightier. So overall, this set rates at about a 3 for me.”

“Before I get into the sauces themselves, I want to express how impressed and how thankful I am to the Heatonist Customer Support Team. When I ordered the box, the Barbacoa sauce bottle had broken and spilled all throughout the box. The rojo and verde were intact and fine, but Barbacoa was ruined. I reached out to Heatonist via email, and they IMMEDIATELY responded to me, connected me to someone from customer service, and sent out a replacement for delivery. I can't thank the spice lords enough for that, and I will gladly keep ordering more sauces in the future. Now for the sauces themselves? Without a doubt, the best hot sauces I have ever tasted. The verde is tangy, fruity, and with the perfect amount of zing from the heat. The rojo is smoky, sweet, and the habanero really shines through. It's a bit hotter than the verde but still a very pleasant heat that's not too overbearing. The barbacoa brought tears to my eyes (not from spice but from pure unadulterated joy). I dropped down to my knees and thanked the spice lords above for granting me the most perfect sauce. Its smoky, sweet, rich, and goes perfectly on any kind of meat. I kept asking myself, "how do they do it?" The flavor is just phenomenal. I am already thinking about the sauces I want to add next to my collection.”
