“I ordered the set of hot sauces from this company, expecting some serious heat based on the listed Scoville units on the bottles. Unfortunately, the actual spice level is nowhere near what’s advertised. If you're a real chilihead looking for an intense burn, you’re going to be disappointed. I don’t mind paying a premium price for a great hot sauce, but at this cost, I expect honesty in labeling. These sauces are significantly milder than claimed, which makes me feel like I wasted my money. If the company were upfront about the true heat levels, I’d respect that—but inflating the Scoville ratings is just misleading. If you’re looking for mild to medium heat sauces, these might be fine for you. But if you’re after something as hot as advertised, look elsewhere.”

“Is it a fun experience? Yes. Do they falsely advertise? Also yes. People have noticed that ‘da bomb’ was the hottest sauce, so some independent parties tested these sauces and found that the last two sauces, which are supposed to be the hottest, were actually less hot than ‘Da bomb’. The ‘Last Dab’ was found to only have a scoville of 64,000 while ‘Da Bomb’ had a scoville of 179,000. The creator of the sauce even confirmed this himself in an interview. With this said, it’s still a fun experience, just know, you can stop at the #8 and don’t need to do the last two sauces. Overall, I strongly dislike when companies falsely promote products for a cash grab, but I do like the YouTube channel and will continue to support, just not by buying their sauces”

Thank you for the feedback! I'm sorry that you didn't love the sauce. I'll pass that along to the team so they can take it into account for future. :) The Last Dab sauce is definitely not as mouth-burn hot as extract-based sauces like Da Bomb. We only do natural pepper heat, and the extract-based sauces definitely have more of a mouth burn while natural peppers can have varied styles of heat. Pepper X are way more delayed and can hit much later. So sometimes it feels more like a full body hot sauce high, or hits you in the stomach (the Carolina Reaper is infamous for making folks keel over with stomach cramps). This sauce is about 90% Pepper X mash, powder and distillate, and when you taste the mash straight up it is killer! When it's cooked in the sauce, those compounds react with the capsaicin and control the heat level. So the net result is that you can feel the type of heat delivered by Pepper X, but still at a level that people can appreciate and not have a meltdown over. We want you to use a lot! How much did you use? The number one reason for people to think this is not hot is because they treat it like an extract sauce and use too little. You're meant to use about 1 tablespoon per serving, so enough to well coat a wing, plus a dab on top. Definitely not a toothpick type deal. Oh! Also, give it a healthy shake before using it. “We ordered these all the way from Aotearoa and as fans of the show we were not disappointed. Some really great flavours and a sauce to go with a number of styles of foods. My wife and two daughter (11 and 14) all took part in the challenge, the wife and I made it to the end, although I recommend not trying a long car journey the next day. I could smell that portaloo for the rest of the day. Both my daughters made in to 5 or 6 and it was a great family bonding experience.”

“We tackled the challenge and came out on top finishing all 10 spices. My father and I made a video for my YouTube channel of us eating the hot ones box sauces from season 24. It was so much fun!!! Totally want to do it again. Thank you Heatness, Sean, and first we feast!”
