One of the VERY BEST top soils that I've used.Required for garden border and a raised bed. EXCELLENT QUALITY. Would certainly buy this again.

Well screened and good colour. I used this in combination with grass seeds mixed in. A think layer in patches and thin spots works great to allow for new growth while not killing existing grass like cheaper top soils from wicks or B&Q. Cheaper ones are full of large pebbles, twigs etc. This costs a lot more but is 100% ususable unlike the cheaper top soils that require screening which is messy and take time, with a reduced amount left over. I would say a third or the cheaper top soils is debris. Also those cheaper ones are more like compost and have isues with becoming spongy and the new grass sticking and dying to it.If you want a good quality top soil for seeding then this is the best I have used. I should not have tried cheaper alternatives as it ended up costing my more for the failed seed establishment in the long term.
