I have so far been able to use my Jamieson Seed Planting Compost in just one application. This is the growth from seed of 'Firestorm' Runner Beans. Over the last 2 weeks 100% of the beans have germinated and are developing fast. An excellent product.

After almost complete failures with my seeds with other composts I can happily say that it has been a success with Jamieson’s Seed compost. I shall not bother with others now.

Good quality compost but had a few bits of fibrous material which hadn't broken down. Found it a bit easy to get too wet so had to let it dry before sowing to prevent seeds rotting. Apart from that totally fine and usable.

The compost recently bought from Jamiesons is exactly right for the job, just like seeding compost used to be - before this coir/woodchip mix became what we've bought elsewhere. The only problem is that carriage costs make it expensive.

My first year for using Jamieson Brothers Seed compost. My Geranium seeds germinated very well and I now have 720 strong healthy plants to put out into the garden. I wish I had heard about it sooner, last two years have been hard work using inferior compost. Definitely using Jamieson Brothers compost in the future.

Jamieson Brothers composts for me have always produced great results, from seeding compost through to multi-purpose or even hanging basket compost with John Innes. So... as Jamieson brothers are about to find out, I'm just about to head back there and order some more bags. They are always my first port of call as the compost is rich and not loaded with lumps of wood like some of the name brands now. I've no idea what they are using nowadays and won't be bothering to find out. Here it is always consistent.
