Working with our suppliers we have brought you the best available bulb for your Christmas Bloom Plant your amaryllis bulbs between six and eight weeks before you’d like them to bloom. Using a pot only a little bigger than the bulb, cover two thirds of the bulb with general purpose compost, leaving the upper third uncovered. Water your Amaryllis from the top, keeping the soil continually moist but not so wet that water collects in the saucer. Feed every 10 days once in bloom with a standard liquid feed. Turn the pot occasionally, as the flowers will grow towards the light. Keep them in a bright, warm, sunny place, ideally at about 20°C, free from draughts of an open window. A shelf above a radiator is ideal.
