PLANTING: Plant August - December Alliums are a very distinctive late spring and early summer flowering bulb, being very showy when planted in beds, borders or rock gardens. Long lasting mixed purple and white flowers in May to July. Allium bulbs are very easy to grow they like to be planted in moist well draining soil, in full / partial sun. The bulbs should be planted 4 times the depth of the bulb (approx 15cm) it is better to plant the bulbs to deep rather than too shallow. The bulbs can be left to naturalise and flower year after year. CAUTION: Ornamental bulbs are not edible and can be a skin irritant.
