Jamieson Brothers® Tomato (Beef) Couer de Boeuf Vegetable Seeds (Approx. 120 seeds) Solanum lycopersicum 'Coeur de Boeuf' - is a large beefsteak variety, characterised by its very distinctive shape and mouth-watering texture and flavour. Very meaty and fleshy, fruits ripen from the inside out and look particularly attractive when sliced and used in Mediterranean type salads with mozzarella and olive oil. CHARACTERISTICS: Exposure: Full sun Harvest: August-October Garden Uses: Ideal for greenhouses or a sheltered spot in the garden Benefits: A ripe fruit peels easily without the need to be blanched first GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Sowing Indoors: Early Spring Sow seeds 1.5cm deep in pots or trays of moist compost, be careful not to over-water. Store in a warm location at an approx. temperature of 18oC (65oF ). When the seedlings are approx. 6" high, transfer to larger pots and reduce the temperature to 16oC (60oF). The plants can be moved to an unheated glasshouse in April or hardened off and planted out from June. Support the plants when needed. Limit each plant to 4-5 trusses and pinch out the sideshoots. Feed regularly with a tomato feed.

Don’t waste your money. Never produced any flower heads or any tomatoes. It grew but that was it. Going to ditch them as soon as.

Lovely. Got the Tomato (beef) seeds today. Just planted them inside in seed trays, so don't know yet how they'll turn out. Will update my review when I know more.
