Jamieson Brothers® Tomato Maja (Balcony) Vegetable Seeds (Approx. 100 seeds) TOMATO BALCONY Solanum Lycopersicum 'Maja' - is a real balcony tomato variety because the tomato plants are only 45 cm high. Ideal for the patio and balcony. The Maja balcony tomato gives sweet tomatoes with a diameter of approximately 5cm. CHARACTERISTICS: Exposure: Full sun Harvest: August-October Garden Uses: Ideal for the greehouse or sheltered spot in the garden Benefits: One of the most popular tomato varieties GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Sowing Indoors: Early Spring Sow seeds 1.5cm deep in pots or trays of moist compost, be careful not to over-water. Store in a warm location at an approx. temperature of 18oC (65oF ). When the seedlings are approx. 6" high, transfer to larger pots and reduce the temperature to 16oC (60oF). The plants can be moved to an unheated glasshouse in April or hardened off and planted out from June. Support the plants when needed. Limit each plant to 4-5 trusses and pinch out the sideshoots. Clearly labelled. The seeds were sent quickly bu RoyalaolThe whole packet is a sealed foil sachet so seed should be fresh. The seeds have just been sown so cannot comment yet on viability but I do not foresee any problems.
