Read Jamieson Brothers Reviews

JBA seed potatoes are pleased to announce that we have a limited quantity of the world record holding heaviest potato variety Kondor available. Kondor hold the world record for producing the heaviest potato ever recorded. The heaviest potato weighs 4.98 kg (10 lb 14 oz) and was grown by Peter Glazebrook (UK). It was weighed at the National Gardening Show at the Royal Bath & West Showground in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, UK, on 4 September 2011. By purchasing these tubers you are agreeing that you will only grow them and multiply them for your own personal use and will not sell any future crops of this variety as seed or any other growable product. These seed potatoes will prove to be a great stock for the future and should allow you to retain your own planting stock for years to come as long as they are kept disease free.

Having waited for so long and paid so much for the Kondors I was very disappointed in the tubers supplied Sizes were very small, overall condition not great and 2 of the 5 tubers have clear signs of wireworm Holes I considered returning them to JBA but eventually decided to run with them because they are so difficult to get but mainly because all of the other nets of seed potatoes bought from JBA have been perfect Regards Ray Lever

I can’t bring myself to give the recency purchased seed potatoes a one star, still have high hopes these will come out great, maybe not a record breaking but ok. Each of the 5 tubers in the pack was riddled with multiple of holes and marks. When I contacted the customer service I was told a wire worm problem affected the whole field. There was no mention of this on the website (still sold for at premium cost) nor when the product arrived (simple sorry the product had not arrived in the condition you expected, or an information sheet would have gone a long way) I have decided to give these 5 tubers a shot and will grow them in pots….just in case they contain other surprises.

They were absolute rubbish how they ever passed as certified seed potatoes I'll never know they were the size of a 50p coin and riddled with holes and i paid £20 for 10 tubers. I've already sent you a photo.
