“great as a bag... not as a grow bag. As a bag its very strong and is great... as a bag used for growing plants or vegetables it would be nice to have drainage holes.... drainage is extremely important to ensure a healthy plant (unless of course this bag is being used ti create a home for big plants) i can therefore only give 2 stars as for the purpose for which it is intended it is not suited”

“OK but .... I have harvested some very nice potatoes from these bags, although not in great abundance (I admit this may not be the fault of the bag as I'm new to growing potatoes). I would say it's very difficult to tell if the potaotes are ready without either feeling around and risk disturbing the roots or emptying out the whole bag and thus ending up with potatoes that aren't quite ready. Maybe this isn't a problem for more experienced potatogrowers, however, in retrospect I wish I'd bought bags with harvesting flaps.”

“potato sacks/bags. Bought these a while ago because they looked bigger and were better value than my local garden centre. But I'm afraid to say that I haven't used them yet mostly due to the fact that it was raining most of the time and when it wasn't I didn't have the time, a catch 22.I would still rate these vege bags highly as on inspection they are taller than the others I have seen and look well made and represent value for money.”
