“If you're looking to get a chess set that will last, consider this one from Jaques! The chess board I got was 30cm x30cm folded out and I think it's the perfect size - not too small that the pieces are difficult to hold but not too large that it's difficult to carry around. The board is light in weight, lovely and smooth and both sides fold up into a really flat playing surface. Each piece has felt material on the bottom and has an elastic to hold it in place when put away. The pieces do not have magnets, so they will fall off the board if you tilt it. The box doesn't have a visible clasp, but it stays shut through a hidden magnet! My chess set arrived in really nice packaging, and ensured that my set arrived undamaged.”
