About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “After my order was lost by delivery company,I got in touch with this company and it was sorted the same day and a new delivery came the next day. Beautifully wrapped gifts that I won't see for a while but I'm confident that they will be perfect. Can recommend.”

“Lovely products and outstanding customer service. I bought a Jaques item from Amazon. It was a luxury card set comprising two packs of card in an acrylic box. On delivery, I found that Amazon had damaged the box. Jaques customer service were excellent. They apologised and immediately dispatched a replacement. The cards themselves are lovely to handle and play with.”

“Significantly cheaper price (>25%) on Amazon via the Jacques Amazon store even though I chose to shop direct to support small business and avoid Amazon. Didn't offer to price match and wasn't able to edit order even prior to it being shipped. Product however is good but service poor”
