The removal tool worked perfectly in conjunction with a rattle gun to get the stuck and rounded OEM drain plug out of my LC200 diff. Installing the replacement 24mm hex drain plug means the problem should now be gone for good. Well done Kaon!

I had both fill and drain plugs jammed on 2007 Tundra front diff with 185,000 miles. No amount of hammering and tapping would loosen them, and applying full force to my breaker bar was tearing them up. I could see from the chisel marks on the drain plug that it had been stuck before. The removal tool fit snugly into the hex drive, and a series of increasingly more forceful whacks on the ratchet with a hammer broke it free. The new 24 mm plug allows more mechanical leverage to be applied to the plug. And I made sure I tightened them to the correct torque. I'm convinced I will not have this problem again.

Replacement drain plug is great! Very satisfied. Even better would be a replacement front diff FILLER plug that could be turned with a standard socket or spanner!

Unfortunately it did't work. I stopped before i stripped the plug completly. I'm thinking I need to weld a allen wrench to the plug 10mm. Any Suggestions? Thanks

Found this when changing my front diff fluid on my 2017 Tacoma after reading about people wrecking the 10mm allen bolt. I couldn’t budge mine loose and didn’t want to try too hard and ruin it. This shipped pretty quickly to me all the way over in the US. Used the tool, worked great and replaced with the new plug!
