“Not totally sold on this product as yet used it last weekend. When taking out the freezer I found it very hard to pull apart to seperate the ice blocks, if I pulled any harder on the straps they would have broken off. So left to defrost for a while then it pulled apart ok to release ice
Will give it a few more tries….”
“Not really what I expected based on the advertising video. Pretty hard to open and ice cubes at the bottom won’t come out. Only makes enough for one drink.
Nevertheless we will keep the two we bought in the freezer on the boat as they are somewhat useful. Still looking for a way to make ice cubes for 4 drinks when the tray can’t stay level in the esky.”
“I don’t like this product. I have the original Icebreaker brand (amazing) also, and the two are not comparable. Took both camping and this one is probably headed to the bin. The straps are not strong enough to pull apart the casing effectively (they haven’t broken yet, but it’s definitely likely to happen soon) and has quite small capacity, making a smaller amount of ice by comparison.
Theoretically great, functionally not so much.”
“Not a good product, difficult to use and low yield when it does work. I've watched the video and perservered, after nemerous attempts it will be going in the bin”
