“This portable induction cooktop is compact and with all the possible power settings and presets, it works very well. With this induction cooktop i also had to upgrade my Barista Coffe Percolator. The 4 cup Percolator did not work and wasn't recognised by the cooktop. The next size up the 6 cup Percolator has a induction contact surface of 11cm in diameter and works fine. I hope this is some usefull information for some one who is going through the same upgrade.”
“Great price compared to similar brands and this product had 5ge extras also.
Friendly staff were just an added extra who took the time to answer any questions.”
“We recently purchased the KickAss QuickFire Portable 2000W Induction Cooktop after I convinced my wife to invest in this model over a cheaper alternative. My main reason was its suitability for both home and camping use – particularly because it came with a silicon pad and a quality carry bag, which were big selling points for us.
We’re still learning how to get the best out of it, but our initial experience has been mostly positive. The unit looks great and offers a wide range of power settings, giving us plenty of flexibility depending on what we’re cooking.
That said, we’ve noticed a consistent hot spot forming in the centre of our pans. We’re not sure yet whether this is due to the cooktop itself or our cookware, as we’ve tried a few different pans with similar results. We’re planning to test it again without the silicon pad to see if that changes anything.
Overall, we’re pretty happy with the purchase. It’s compact, powerful, and a good fit for our camping setup – assuming we can sort out the heat distribution issue. So far, it’s looking like a great addition to our gear.”
“Love my induction cooktop. It was very useful when staying in powered sites. It was coming up with an error E6 but Kickass replaced it and the new unit works perfectly. Nice & portable & bag and slip mat are both brilliant.”
“Have only tested it once, in the house for some water, not camping yet, but seems fast and efficient and I should be able to follow the icons hopefully.”
