“this unit is rediculously slow to heat up +1hr. dispite having adequate power supplied to it after numerous configurations. KA customer service say its within spec. works great once it heats up as long as you have the sustained battery power off grid to make it work and allow the 3.5 hours to cook a roast”

“Disappointed the oven came with no instruction booklet, not sure if it should have or not. This oven worked as per expectations and produced one of the best corned silversides I’ve ever eaten. Unfortunately after this first cook the light switch no longer works and I will be seeking recompense for this faulty appliance. If anybody does read this I can be contacted on 0414684720.”
“Easy install, reaches 180 degrees @12v, albeit a bit slow once you get close to that target temp. Would recommend to preheat for one hour beforehand or factor this into your cooking times if starting from cold oven, it's all relative. Draws 10amp @ 12v as designed so I wouldn't recommend connecting through a voltage booster as per some YouTube videos. It will operate through a voltage booster but should expect decrease in life expectancy of the heating element if doing so.”
“We have just updated from our older travel oven to the new version and the window and light make a big difference I no longer have to keep opening the oven to check on the progress of the contents which is awesome no heat wasted opening the door brilliant, we also camp with a group of friends and have 4 different brands of 12v travel ovens amongst us all and we have the best by far and 1 of our group made her choice based on the usability of the kickass brand over the others she got to do test comparison's with all of the 4 brands while in camp seeing in real time the benefits of the kickass brand we could not be happier with it thank you…”
