“Initially in comparison to other brands I have used (Tripp and IT) this felt flimsy and I was concerned how well it would cope with being used. We just used the cases for the first time yesterday and one has been badly damaged. The top corner has been dented/bent; clearly from the suitcase being dropped/falling off a luggage trailer in the handling procedures at the airport. The canvas is now totally splitting away from the metal edges of the frame and I cannot use it again for fear the whole case will split open. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement: a suitcase should be able to handle some wear and tear and being dropped during the airport handling. I will not buy an American tourister product again.”
