“First of all the service from Luggage Superstore was great - ordered and the case arrived within 48hrs.
I have owned Samsonite cases for about 3 decades, they have always felt virtually bomb proof. The only reason I have purchased new models, is simply becuase the newer versions are so much more lightweight.
This case is pretty light (about 4.5kg), but it doesn't feel quite as bomb-proof as previous models. I found it quite easy to "flex" the outer shell when I casually pressed it.
I have also had Samsonite cases that have a tough zipper all the way round as well as the usual "clamps" to secure it shut. This case has no zipper, but it has a couple of side clamps as well as the main handle clamp. I hope it stays shut.
How it will fare with the Eejits who thrown cases into planes and on the carousels, I don't know.

The locks on the suitcase are great, although I haven't had the chance to travel with it yet to test the performance. Overall, I am satisfied.”
